For everyone out there searching for a DJ - we couldn't recommend Elliott more! He was able to mix our favorites with classics in a way that worked for a wedding but felt like a club or a music festival. It was totally unique, curated, high energy, and fun...really hard to find among DJs who work weddings (from our experience searching!). Elliott himself has awesome taste so it was really easy to quickly align on a vision for the night. Elliott took our wedding to another level! He was so thoughtful and easy to work with all along. We are from Miami and had a more unique music lineup since it was a both a Jewish and Latin wedding—and Elliott truly delivered. He is so meticulous and makes sure that every detail aligns with your vision. He is also great at improvising when you want to create a different turn. Elliott was a total pleasure to work with. Where to start...One of the more last minute challenges of many during our Covid wedding planning was when our original DJ cancelled 2 days prior to our big day. I had remembered a good friend mentioned "knowing a guy", so I was connected with Elliott right away. I think it was a miracle that he happened not to be booked already. Elliott jumped in immediately not only ready and willing to help but genuinely excited to make this one of the best and most memorable days and dance parties of our lives - and despite all odds, it was! He asked all the right questions, went and scouted the venue and executed everything beyond perfectly. My husband and I had such a wave of relief knowing Elliott would be there for us and we felt SO lucky with how it all worked out. We couldn't have dreamt that we would end up with such a fabulous DJ, and a fabulous guy in general, helping with our wedding. It wouldn't have been the same without his organization, determination and incredible energy. The entire day from ceremony to send off flowed effortlessly with Elliott's lead. We felt like we had known Elliott for years despite just having met, he just made us feel so comfortable and we had so many guests come up to us and compliment him. I would recommend him to anyone getting married, or for any event really. He will be everything you hope for and more. DJ Elliott is amazing. I’ve been involved with a number of corporate parties where we’ve had DJs and I’ve never been so lucky to have the positive energy, fun professionalism, and the thoughtfulness into tailoring the music to the event. (It was a pirate themed party and he even came dressed in the themeJ). He is proactive, accessible and just “gets it” when it comes to the needs of the event. His ability to read the energy in the room and keep the momentum on the dance floor is another area that sets himself apart. I had so many people comment on how great the music was at our party. There were so many great transitions that changed up the style or genre without losing the energy that it was fun to listen to the set even when I wasn’t able to be on the dance floor. He made it fun for the guests, and made my event planning team look brilliant! I can’t recommend him highly enough and if we ever have an event in the Salt Lake City area, he will be the first call I make.

If you want someone to just show up and play music at the reception this is not the guy - if you want a thoughtful, detailed, organized person to manage your perfect night tailored to your taste - as well as get the party started, Elliott is definitely your person. I’m lucky to call Elliott a friend, but having him DJ our wedding was a different type of relationship. From the very beginning when we asked if he would be available, he has been nothing but helpful. Music and DJing aside, it is clear that Elliott has partaken in many different kinds of weddings and he knows the drill.
He helped us organize the dinner and reception with a very detailed timeline, he worked closely with our coordinator to ensure that the small details would not fall through the cracks and his communication skills are exceptional. He didn’t mind helping me communicate logistics to the audio vendor and my wedding coordinator, which really lifted some weight off my shoulders. His knowledge and attention to detail are clear and obvious the second you speak to him - I knew we were in good hands and stress level decreased each time we spoke. He also came to me with a ton of great ideas - ideas on how to make our wedding special and different, ideas on lighting and how to set up the perfect vibe and other extremely helpful tips and bits of advice.
AND THE PARTY - he really got our dance floor poppin’. He consulted with us a lot on the type of music we like and didn’t like - and he took it from there. Everyone loved it and danced the night away. This is much more than just hiring a DJ, you’re going to get a lot of detailed planning and coordination with someone who is a true expert. Elliott really made our night a perfect night we will never ever forget!

Our experience with Elliott as our wedding DJ was PHENOMENAL. When I had first started wedding planning, my wedding planner mentioned him as her preferred DJ and it didn’t take any time at all for me to see exactly why! He is easily my favorite vendor from our wedding day. Planning an Indian wedding in particular was very tricky especially in regards to the music. There were quite a few traditional ceremonies throughout our weekend wedding in which music cues and particular tracks of music were key. I was shocked at how much time Elliott had taken to personally understand the culture behind each and every one of our music selections to make all of the music for the weekend flow seamlessly. He would even reach out to others with similar music experiences and text me ideas that he had to enhance the music selection further – something that I had not experienced with any of my other vendors.
I never felt like Elliott was just my DJ. Anytime I had in-person meetings with my wedding planner or other vendors in the wedding, Elliott would stick around even though we weren’t necessarily discussing music to understand every detail of the wedding and allow himself to adapt to anything we would potentially need on our wedding day. I always joked that Elliott, by the end, had truly become my second wedding planner!
He took time to get to know us outside of our wedding as well. We quickly became good friends through our shared interests and hobbies over social media and every meeting with him felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. Both me and my husband at the time were both very busy with school and Elliott’s organization in planning all the music helped us eventually fill in all of the little details with all of his help.
He also did a fantastic job MCing all of our wedding events – a very challenging task at a 400 person wedding. Our guests absolutely loved him. He was the perfect person to announce transitions and introduce speakers for toasts. I couldn’t have imagined a better scenario.
I took the time to write this because I truly believe that Elliott is a key vendor that everyone should have be a part of their wedding. I feel so lucky to have had him as our DJ and now is he is a lifelong friend! Our friends always remark how amazing our DJ was and we are still planning New Years reunions and other parties he can DJ for the future!

Elliott isn't a DJ, he's a magician! He was so organized,and helped us pick out types of music for each section of the evening. We made a few short playlists and he took those songs and turned them into a whole night of amazing music, perfectly managing the mood and the crowd. There was a ton of added value too - he did so much more than just music. We had a couple of consultations with him in the weeks before the wedding to formulate a solid plan for the big day. We can’t thank Elliott enough for helping to make our wedding absolutely perfect. With as much time and effort that goes into selecting your wedding photographer, caterer etc., the choice of Elliott as our DJ was our best and quickest decision. He was highly recommended by our wedding planner and thankfully, he was free for our wedding day. We enjoyed getting to meet Elliott a few weeks before the wedding and we had a great time talking music with him. He took the time to fully understand our likes and dislikes and by the end, we were stoked with the direction we were headed.
Elliott was awesome to work with over email as we were finalizing the ceremony and reception playlists. During the big day, Elliott went above and beyond to help make sure everything went smoothly. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. When it came to his music expertise at the reception, Elliott knocked it out of the park. He read the party atmosphere so well and seamlessly jammed through all of our favorite songs. The energy was amazing underneath the star filled sky. We could have danced the night away but we’re glad we packed up when we did as a rainstorm came through a mere half hour later. Many guests have passed numerous compliments onto us about the great music and awesome DJ. Our wedding would not have been as amazing as it was without Elliott. Thank you so much!!

We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to use DJ Elliott for our wedding. Leading up to the event Elliott took the time to get to know us and our style so he could really understand what we were looking for and the environment we wanted to create. Elliott worked with us to develop unique dinner and reception playlists that incorporated his suggestions but always put our vision and opinions first. During our event Elliott went out of his way to make sure things ran smoothly and on schedule, even helping other vendors and making sure our food and beverage needs were being met. On the dance floor Elliott brought high energy, smooth transitions, and timely selections that kept the party going strong all night (with several encores). We are people who choose to live life well, and we both work in positions that require a significant level of customer service and attention. We have high standards, are openly vocal about what we like/dislike, love to entertain and have little tolerance for what we perceive as mediocrity. In looking towards our wedding we clearly needed more than just a “wedding DJ”. We truly love music- it is woven through many aspects of our lives and was therefore going to be key to the success of our entire event. It was important to us to create an experience for our guests, and to incorporate the broad range of music that really speaks to who we are and what fills our souls.
Elliott was the answer. From the first time we spoke with him we were confident that he would take the time to get to know us, our likes and dislikes, and what was important to us on our wedding day.
